Katie Hanford

Katie Hanford began training in all styles of dance at the age of three. With over 30 years of experience under her belt, Katie has a true passion for molding and shaping the artistic talents of others. By the age of ten, Katie was named a Top 5 National Finalist in Paula Abdul's Co. Dance Tour. Katie discovered the unique style, creativity and professionalism she brings to her students and choreography while dancing alongside Wade Robson, Chris Judd and Tyce Diorio at dance conventions across the nation. Katie received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. While in California, Katie had the opportunity to study acting and directing under superstars like Billy Crystal, Jason Alexander, Daniel Stern and Ron Howard. Katie was honored to be awarded "Choreographer of the Year" and "Dancer of the Year" for her work in Pepperdine’s Dance in Flight. Katie met her husband, Cody, in a production of Theatre Memphis’ A Chorus Line, and shortly thereafter they established KC Choreography. KC Choreography embraced the opportunity to work as writers, choreographers, directors and performers at Six Flags Fiesta Texas where they were given several nods from IAAPA for their work.
