Celebration Arts Academy's instructors are highly-trained, experienced PROFESSIONALS in their respective fields. Each class they show up ready to share their decades of live performance knowledge and show how techniques apply in the real world of professional entertainment.

Christina Gerrity

Christina graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA with a BFA while also taking home the award of Premier Ballerina.  She was immediately accepted into the world reknown Koresh Dance Company.  Her dance has taken her around the globe to nearly each and every continent thanks to years of performing onboard Silversea and Crystal Cruise Lines.  She's performed shows in NYC, Atlantic City (numerous times for President Elect Trump), Reno, Las Vegas, and Hawaii just to name a few.  From ballet to production shows and even years as a magician's assistant, Christina has done it all in the field of dance.

Rebecca-Jo is our resident Musical Theater instructor and teaches All Boys Hip Hop.   She is licensed in Zumba and Les Mills Body Flow.  While working professionally in musical theatre around the nation, singing and dancing at theme parks, and being a part of many local bands has been her "real job" in life, Rebecca Jo has found such joy in teaching young ones.  

Christye Alan

Christye brings over 28 years of profesional dance, theater and aerial performance experience to Celebration Arts Academy!  After a successful dance career, she fell in love with aerial arts 17 years ago.  She is expertly trained on Lyra/Hoop, Hammock, Tissu (Silks) just to name a few.  She's performed for many companies and events such Metropolis Productions, Farrington Productions, MTV Video Music Awards, Latin Music Awards, Walmart, Microsoft and many more!  She currently can be seen at the Blue Horizons show at Sea World Orlando.

Drew Ochoa

Drew joins us from Toledo, OH. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Bowling Green State University and a Master's Degree in Voice Performance from Roosevelt University in Chicago. He has had the privilege of singing with the Chicago Lyric Opera Chorus, Chicago Symphony Orchestra Chorus, and Grant Park Chorus. Drew currently performs with the Dapper Dan's of Disney World and with Voices of Liberty in Epcot. 

Nadya Borno

Voice

 

Nadya is an active musician and entertainer from Miami, Florida. She has been studying and performing for over 7 years and is currently employed by the Walt Disney World Company.

In addition to performing professionally, Nadya also loves teaching and volunteering. She has been involved in numerous musical projects and theatrical productions and spent much of her time as the lead music minister for the Our Lady of the Lakes adult and children's choir before moving to Orlando. 

Aside from making magic at Disney, Nadya sings with the Osceola Arts a capella group 'Take Note' and regularly performers as lead vocalist for the Will Adrien Jazz Quintet.

Chuck Perry

Piano Instructor

 

For almost 30 years Chuck Perry has performed extended engagements at Sandals Resorts, current runs with Disney Cruise Lines, as well as with Norwegian and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. When he’s not sailing he’s playing the piano, singing and performing at theaters and popular venues, mostly through Florida where he currently resides, always expressing his own arrangements and musical interpretations. According to Chuck, “Learning piano should be fun, embraced with laughter and technique, all the while causing you to form a true love for this cool instrument. So let’s have some fun…”

Sandro Ojeda

Celebration Cirque Instructor

 

Sandro brings extensive experience to CAA. A third generation flying trapeze artist, he began performing at the age of 13. In the mid-1990s, Sandro moved to the USA and traveled with a circus. He later settled in Orlando, FL and performed as a hands-balancing artist for Sea World Orlando and a tumbler for Walt Disney World's Indiana Jones Show for nearly 10 years. For the past 14 years, he has been performing with Cirque du Soleil's La Nouba as a flying trapeze artist. More recently, Sandro began coaching children in tumbling, and he pays close attention to each child's form and safety. He has a repertoire for helping kids to build confidence and have fun while increasing their physical strength and appreciation for the arts. Sandro is bilingual (English/Spanish), and he enjoys spending time with his wife Dianne and two little girls, who are fellow Celebration residents.
